About the Tournament

Your Hosts

Sacred City Derby Girls formed in September 2006 with high hopes of being accepted into the WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association). By October of 2007 we were members. For the first time since our inception we are not only hosting the Western Regional Tournament, we are also playing as seed #10.

The Venue

Back in the day, Bank Track Derby was played in Sacramento. But this year, for the first time ever, Flat Track Roller Derby is coming to the Memorial Auditorium.

One of the most recognizable and beloved buildings in the region, the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, located at 1515 J Street in downtown Sacramento, CA, is listed on the National Historic Register. The auditorium was constructed in 1926 and opened in February 1927. For over eighty years, with the exception of a ten-year closure from 1986-1996, the Memorial Auditorium has drawn audiences to a variety of events.

This October, the top ten Womens Flat Track Roller Derby teams from across the entire western region will meet at the Memorial Auditorium to compete for the Regional Title and a chance to compete at this year’s Championship Tournament in Chicago, IL.
